So... what exactly is the fandom's obsession with "Inuyasha's sister"? It's practically become some sort of cult following, of the sort, "Even though we never see her, she MUST exist!!!11" I mean, WTF? With all the Sister!Sues out there, it would seem like Inu-papa was the biggest manwhore in all of Japan. Not to mention a majority of them are younger sisters, meaning either Inu-papa was a cheating bastard, or Izayoi got the hankerin' for extra youkai-lovin' after he died.

All of the Sister!Sues in this image are based off of actual Sue descriptions in fanfiction. A search of fanfiction.net for "Inuyasha's sister" returns about 300 results of fics submitted within the past WEEK. I didn't brave all of them. In fact, I only got through those half dozen before my brain fried. Among them were a girl who was both Inuyasha AND Kouga's sister, meaning Inu-papa had to boink Kouga's mom. And a girl who was 3/4 cat demon, despite Inu-papa being her father. And a blonde hanyou from the modern era, meaning that Inu-papa somehow traveled to the future and shagged an American. The list goes on... x___x

Inu-papa gets multiple letters a week on his column inquiring about Inuyasha's mysterious sister. Either that or it's someone claiming to be his long-lost daughter. I mean... isn't that a little insulting to go up to a guy and demand that you know more about his family and sex life than he does?

Omg I don't think InuYasha has a sister, I was always told though that his sister had a light blue suit (Sorta like InuYasha's) and looks like InuYasha but in a more feminine way. >_<

Well, now we know that Papa's gonna be sleeping in the dog house because Mama was surfing ff.net :XD:

I haven't seen the cult yet, I've been busy in other fandoms. I think I got out of fanfiction for IY when those were really gaining speed.

Er... that's the point of this picture. He doesn't have a sister. No one knows what she looks like, because she doesn't exist. And causing her to exist makes Inu-papa look like a bastard. :P

My personal favorite Sister!Sue was when they made Kagome InuYasha's younger sister, who then (after finding out) fell in love with Sesshoumaru and mated. All made "A ok" because she was no longer human but part demon... that was just WRONG on SOOOOO many levels! *shiver of disgust*

Great picture, though. I just love the adults expressions :) Is the next on the list all of Sesshoumaru's Older and Younger sisters, those are funner (NOT).

Doesn't add up, really.

Two sons he's proud to call his own, going off and clashing against each other... I think that's plenty for the series than an OC sister that either is Taishou-sama's child through the writer's eyes... or claims to be.

Don'tcha just hate the way these idiotic fans run away with themselves? I give you a pat on the back for going up against stupid fan-girls and their want to make their own in the IY world...Course there are others who try to do it in other anime too...such as Gundam Wing...But we'll leave that for another day! :D
