So... I don't remember what prompted this. I think it was actually some comment about Buyo in "Dear Papa", which made me think, "Hey, Papa would like to play with Buyo!" Except then Jii-chan would come after him with sticky notes of doom, and Souta would hero-worship him and... it just kinda grew from there.

So, this image became "Inuyasha's family meets Kagome's family". Minus Sesshoumaru, of course, because... well... he doesn't really "fit" in this picture, if you know what I'm saying. Either that or Papa invited him along, but he's outside brooding or something. And Inuyasha and Kagome are... I dunno, out at WcDnald's or something, because there were just too darn many people in this picture as it was, and I didn't feel like adding them.

Drawn and colored entirely in Photoshop... uh... 5 (I'm so ancient), with screencaps in the picture book from episodes 58, 82, and 167.

Mama: "Oh, look, Izayoi-san, and here's when your son barged in naked while my daughter was studying!"

I am, like, really envious of Souta in this picture. If Papa came to my house to visit, you can be sure that's where I'd be.
